Amer Point – a big beard of posidonia with huge rocks and little caves. At the end there is a canyon of sand between the rocks. The maximum depth is 22 m.
Location: near Cala Bona and Cala Millor, Majorca

Beard – a big beard of posidonia with huge rocks and small caves. The highlights of this site are the vertical difference in level and the solid big rocks. The maximum depth is 20 m.

Big Cheese – the most spectacular dive of the Marine Reserve of Cala Ratjada. An enormous rocky formation rising out of the sea like an islet some 60 m wide and with 90% of its volume submerged. On the southern side it is 15 m deep and on the northern side there are some 30 m. It is perforated with various tunnels which run from north to south and communicate with each other so that divers have the impression of diving through an enormous “Gruyère” cheese. Many tunnels and the mild sea currents make it the perfect living conditions for nudibranches, barracudas, groupers, morays and many other marine species.

Cala Morlanda – a steep cliff. This is an easy dive. An ideal diving place for divers with little experience. The maximum depth is 14 m.

Cala Morlanda Caves 
two caves on a sandy area, one right after the other. The second one has got an entrance from the land. Eels can be seen in this area at night. The maximum depth is 8 m.
Access: from the shore or from the boat.

Cala Nao – a rocky area with small caverns, a bit of sand and posidonia. Transparent water and low difficulty level make this spot an ideal site for diving courses. The maximum depth is 10 m.

Cala Rajoli – sandy and rocky areas. Due to its low level of difficulty it is an ideal site for diving courses. The maximum depth is 5 m.

Calo de Monjo – a perfect, multi-level dive. The dive starts at a depth of 18 m when the entrance to the tunnel is located. The tunnel is wide and about 50 m long. The inhabitants of the tunnel include nudibranch, sea horses, octopi and cardinal fish.

Camel Hump – a steep vertical cliff and the sea bottom with big rocks. Sandy areas with posidonia.
The main attraction is rich marine life near the cliff. The maximum depth is 25 m.

Cape Vermell – a steep wall with big rocks, posidonia, caves and some sand at the end.
The highlight of this dive is a stony column and the cave right behind it. The maximum depth is 22 m.

Cathedral (Cueva Cala Llonga) – a large cave with an easy access. The dive is relatively easy (for advanced divers) and the exit is visible. There is also a big air pocket where divers can breathe some fresh air. The caves serves as home to many marine species such as morays, barracudas, scorpion fish, octopi and crawfish.

Column wreck – archaeological remains of a 13th century merchant ship. It was carrying a cargo of columns and capitals of white marble from a quarry somewhere in the Italian peninsula. Divers can still enjoy the ribs, the four iron cannons, the kind that fired stone balls as big as an orange and the ship’s ballast, made out of big river stones. The wreck lies on a sandy bottom with posidonia. The maximum depth is 14 m.

Conger Cave – a steep cliff with big rocks and caves. There are also tunnels where one can dive through. This cave may be dangerous because of the sediment of the sea bottom. The maximum depth is 20 m.

Devil’s Cave – an enormous cave with two chambers. The first one, smaller, completely submerged and the second one filled with air and accessible through a vertically running tunnel.
A spectacular dive but not an easy one. The maximum depth is 15 m.

EC-DRC – the wreck of a small light aircraft lies at a depth of 8 m. It used to be one of the best wrecks in this area before it was damaged by a boat together with winter storms.

El Sec – this dive spot is famous for two wrecks lying at a depth of 18 m and 25 m. One of them is real and lies at a depth of 30 m. The other one was sunk deliberately. Both of them serves as artificial reefs and thus divers may admire lots of fish in this area (octopi, scorpion fish, congers, morays).

El Toro – an excellent multi-level site where divers may meet morays, octopi, scorpion fish, barracudas, groupers, damselfish, nudibranch, red corals and many other species. Apart from rich marine life, there are some nice rock formations (boulders, a wall). This area is Marine Reserve. The maximum depth is 40 m.

Harmonica Bay – an old quarry with drop offs and terraces. This is an ideal place in days of strong wind and for divers with little experience because of its position and easiness. The maximum depth is 14 m.

Islas Bledas – this archipelago consists of several islets and rocks and there are plenty of possibilities for divers in this zone. The sea bed is covered with colourful gorgonians and the residents of the area include lobsters, morays, congers, scorpion fish. The maximum depth is 40 m but even beginners can enjoy diving in this area.

Isla Conejera – waters around this island offer many opportunities for divers of all levels. The maximum depth is 40 m. The main attractions include rock formations (caves, drop offs) and abundant marine life (octopi, groupers, scorpion fish, damselfish, morays, barracudas, starfish, corals).

Isla Margarita – the main attractions in this zone include amazing rock formations – arches, cliffs, caves, swim throughs, drop offs and hundreds of holes. Another feature of this site is abundance of marine life (lobsters, morays, scorpion fish, congers, sponges). The maximum depth is 40 m. There is also a wreck of an tanker (Nosahy K) in this area at a depth of 12 m.

Islas Margrats – this area is a Marine Reserve and a great spot to meet octopi, barracudas, wrasses, morays and colourful sponges. There are also some rock formations covered with red corals. The maximum depth is 23 m. The zone offers a relaxing and pleasant dive. At a depth of 25 m divers can find a mermaid – a statue placed here by some divers as a tribute for their late friend.

Isla Tagomago – this small island is very popular among divers. There are several dive sites in this area which suit divers of all levels and interests. The underwater attractions comprise beautiful rock formations (vertical walls, tunnels, caves and caverns), two big anchors and several old shipwrecks. Divers may also admire rich marine fauna and flora such as large octopi, groupers and barracudas, as well as lobsters and smaller fish. The maximum depth is even 50 m.

Labyrinth – a system of caves, holes and tunnels, surrounded by posidonia. The maximum depth is 10 m.

Lladó – this dive sites comprise two sister rocks Lladó Norte and Lladó Sur. Lladó Norte is a huge rock rising above the water surface and there are several caves, drop offs and holes. Lladó Sur offers a tunnel dive. The maximum depth is 30 m. There is an abundance of marine life in this area – groupers, barracudas, octopi, morays, congers, tuna fish, rays and many other species.

Madonna Cave – it is a very large cavern with a wide entrance. Inside the cave at a depth of 18 m divers can see a statue of Madonna placed here as thanks to the sea for being kind to fishermen. The maximum depth is 30 m. There are two air pockets in the chamber.

Manta Point
sea bottom with algae and sand. Sometimes a lot of rays can be seen in this spot. The maximum depth is 13 m.

Moray Eel Bank – a bank of rocks full of holes and little caverns near to a sandy area and a tunnel at the end. The highlight of this site is moray eels and the tunnel at the end. The maximum depth is 18 m.

Mushroom – on a sandy area with big stones there is a big rock sticking out of the sea. Beneath the cliff there are several caves and a 15 m long tunnel where one can dive through. The maximum depth is 16 m.

Northern Point – a steep vertical cliff with massive rocks and sandy areas with posidonia.
The main attraction is rich marine life near the cliff. The maximum depth is 24 m.

Paula’s Palace – this site comprises three canyons of rocks crossed by some tunnels. There is also a cave with the shape of a siphon. The maximum depth is 19 m.

Playa de Illetas – a great and shallow dive for beginners and training. The maximum depth is 30 m. Divers may admire rich marine life (such as octopi, damselfish, wrasses, congers and morays) and unique rock formations.

Porto Cristo’s Lighthouse – a peculiar combination of the vertical cliffs and the big solid rocky formations. The maximum depth is 20 m.

Skylight Cave – a spectacular cave with two chambers linked by two tunnels and two holes, one in the central part and one in the roof. The upper chamber is filled with air. Great light effects for photographers. The maximum depth is 14 m.
