Slovenia has a temperate climate, Mediterranean on the coast and continental in the east. Summers are mild and warm, winters are cold.





Temperatures

The average monthly temperatures in winter/summer: from -8/10ºC in the northwest, 2/20ºC up country and 5/24ºC on the coast.


Precipitation

Annual total precipitation: 850 mm on the coast, 900 mm up country, 3 000 mm in the mountains.
