CLIMATE



Climate is typically Mediterranean, with hot, dry summers, warm autumns and short, cool, rainy winters. Winds are very frequent in Malta: majjistral, grigal, xlokk.

The average monthly temperatures: 12ºC in February and 26ºC in August. The average water temperature: 20ºC.

 


Precipitation


The average monthly precipitation: 2 mm in June and 102 mm in December. Annual total precipitation: 578 mm.
