DIVING ALBANIA CLIMATE





CLIMATE


There are two main climatic regions in Albania – Mediterranean climate on the coast and moderate continental in the lowlands and the interior. On the coast summers are hot and dry, whereas winters are rainy. In the interior of the country, winters are mild, sometimes with snowfall in the highlands.




Temperatures


The average monthly temperatures: 1 to 10ºC in winter and 15 to 25ºC in summer.


Precipitation

Annual total precipitation: 660 mm in the lowlands, 1 500 mm on the coast, 2 000 mm in the mountains.
